Monroe Catholic Football secures winning season after running through Redington

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - After Eielson finished up in the afternoon, the Monroe Catholic Rams were also victorious on Saturday night.
The Rams defeated the Redington Huskies 34-0.
The Rams were dominant in their efforts despite the pouring rain.
Quarterback Trae Puryear was able to score two touchdown passes through the air.
He tossed one to Isaac Garcia and another to Isaac Minnema.
Josh Gray also ran in a touchdown while Garen Nicholson ran one in and alsl earned a pick-6.
For the first time since 2012, the Rams are guaranteed to have a winning season.
They currently sit at 5-2 overall and await the Eielson Ravens in their season finale.
They are currently tied with the Barrow Whalers for second place in the Aurora, both teams with a 2-1 conference record.
The top two teams in the Aurora Conference will make the playoffs.
