FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Two Interior Athletes signed their National Letters of Intent today, we'll start with the latest Monroe Catholic Basketball player to go to the next level.
Isaac Garcia will be heading to South Mountain College.
The 6 foot guard was first team All-Conference and All-State last season, and has also earned honors on the All-Tournament team.
He has also led the Monroe Catholic Rams to a state tournament appearance in each season as a starter.
Garcia will now join the South Mountain Cougars, a community college in Phoenix, Arizona.
We talked to Garcia after he signed about how his support system allowed him to advance to the next level.
"It went by fast. I couldn't have done this without God, my family, Coach O, all my support system here. I really appreciate everybody. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be the player I am now and they pushed me so much during practice and Coach O pushed me to where I didn't even think I could do it, but we just kept on pushing through and it made me the player I am now," said Garcia.
