Monroe Basketball Sweeps North Pole while Eielson Splits with Delta

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Besides tournament play, there were a pair of double headers held outside of city limits.
Both North Pole Patriot teams hosted the Monroe Catholic Rams, where the visiting squads earned a sweep.
The Boys were victorious in a 48-32 effort.
Quinn McHenry was the scoring leader in that game, finishing with 16 points.
Alex Garcia led North Pole with 11.
Next up was the Girls game, which Monroe won 55-49.
Freshman Katie Bast led the way for Monroe with 29 points, while North Pole's Claire Richmond also contributed to the high-scoring, finishing with 32.
Out on Eielson Air Force, the Eielson Ravens split with Delta.
First up, the Eielson boys won 55-52.
Matthew Scarboro led the Ravens with 16 points while Chirstian Bolton added 14.
The Huskies were led by Jason Montes, Ben Bialik, and Drenen Magee, who all dropped 11 points.
The Delta Girls were then able to earn a 50-41 win.
They were led by Andrea Solla and her 22 points while Eielson's Tobias Page finished with 28.
