Lathrop Wrestling triumphs over three different schools

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - There was a whole lot of High School Wrestling action in the Interior last night.
We'll start with what was scheduled to be a Dual Meet between the Lathrop Malemutes and West Valley Wolfpack, which evolved into a Tri-Meet also involving the Hutchison Hawks.
Lathrop was victorious against both opponents.
The defending state Champs defeated West Valley 55-24.
Lathrop earned their fall victories from Roberto Lechuga Porras in the 125 pound weight class, Nathan Kisgen in the 160, and Andrue Shepersky in the 171.
Lathrop then defeated Hutchison 53-6, earning falls from Porras and Kisgen once again, as well as Aiyana Erhart, Sage Martin, and Ernesy Hollcraft.
West Valley was then victorious in a 35-7 effort against Hutchison.
Lathrop was actually split into two squads as they also were out on Eielson Air Force Base, where they defeated the Eielson Ravens 56-18.
Josiah and James Opp, as well as Ramon Gloria, Andrew Killian Dalrymple, Colton Parduhn, and Garret Bourne all earned falls for the Malemutes.
Will McManus earned the only fall victory for Eielson.
