The Tourney started when the Lathrop Malemutes took on the Chugiak Mustangs.

The Stangs were led by Tyler Trevino who scored 9 points.
The Malemutes on the other hand were led by Dangelo Belton who dropped 17 points.
Lathrop will continue tournament play tonight against Dimond.
Last Night's Main Event saw the Dimond Lynx take on the West Valley Wolfpack.
Dimond was able to escape with a 52-50 victory.
The Wolfpack held a slim lead in each of the three quarters and had the defending State Champs on the ropes.
Cornelius Mingo Jr. tied the game up with 24 seconds left, but Lynx guard Carter Moore drove in a game-winning Layup with less than a second remaining.
Moore led the Lynx in scoring with 16 points while the Wolfpack were led by Sophomore Terrell Peter who dropped 17 points.
His Classmate Noah Do also put on quite the show, scoring 15 points, all of which came from behind the arc.
West Valley will be in action again tonight against South Anchorage.
Cornelius Mingo Sr.; Head Coach - West Valley Wolfpack>>: "Hey that's a great feeling. Like I said, they're the defending state champions. They've got a great coach, great staff, great players returning. They lost a lot but they're still very disciplined in what they do. So I think we did very good against them. You know, the kids will be hurt about this one tonight. Think about it a little bit, we got school tomorrow. It's just something we gotta get over. We've got to lace them up again in 24 hours so."
