The City Golf Championships took place over the weekend. The three-day tournament took place in all three of the Fairbanks Golf Courses then wrapped up at Chena Bend on Sunday.
The Championship Flight was won by Kristopher Wood who earned himself a 235 stroke total.
Wood never even got into the 80's as he kept his stroke total to 78 at Fairbanks Golf Course, a 79 at North Star, and then 78 once again at Chena Bend.
The next closest Golfer was Tom Chadwick, who earned 2nd place with a 243-stroke total.
Bruce Cunningham won the first flight in the tournament by hitting a 243 over the three days.
Cunningham got better and better each day, hitting an 83 at the Fairbanks Golf Course, an 82 at Northstar, and a 78 at Chena Bend.
The Women's Tournament was won by Dee Liebl, who took home the Women's crown with a 258-stroke total over the three days.
Second place went to Connie Johnson and her 265-stroke score.
The competition also awarded the Golfers who got the closest to the pin as well as the longest drive.
Bruce Cunningham was closest to the pin for the men, only 4 feet and 8 inches away.
Martha Hanlon was the closest to the pin on the Women's side.
The Longest Drive was Jeff Leonelli for the Men and Dee Liebl for the Women.
