Interior seniors earn Invitations to AABC All-Star game

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Basketball season may be over but there is still one more opportunity for a select few seniors to play one more game at the high school Level.
The Alaska Association of Basketball Coaches announced the rosters for their annual Senior All-Star Game and several Interior players earned spots on the team. ​
We'll start with the 3A Boys side of things, which saw the most selections. ​
The Eielson Ravens saw three players earn invitations. ​
Matthew Scarboro, DeAndre Ford, and Brock Renson will all be heading south to compete. ​
The Eielson trio will be joined by a pair of players from the Monroe Catholic Rams, Isaac Garcia and Izak Lohrke. ​
One final representative from the Interior for the 3A boys is Delta's Omar Powers, who was the lone husky invited. ​
For the girls team, two West Valley players earned invitations in the form of UAA Committ Ellen Silva and Sierra Tate. ​
The final player from the Aurora Conference was Galena's Elizabeth Green. ​
The Senior All-Star Game is set for Saturday at the Wells Fargo Arena down in Anchorage.
