FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Big C relays came to an end on Saturday in the Anchorage Dome.
The top Interior Finisher from the second day of the event was West Valley's Camron Herron, who took first in the 800 meter race.
Herron finished in 1 minute and 55 seconds, outpacing West Anchorage's Ethan Davis by two seconds.
Another top finisher was Delta Junction's Hailey Williams, who took the top spot in the 100 meter dash.
She won that race in 12.17 seconds, marking her second victory in as many days in the dome.
The only other top three finishes for Interior teams in day two belonged to Lathrop's Jace Henry, who took second in the discus with a throw only 4 inches shorter than the winning toss from Grace Christian's James Coulombe.
While they were outside of the top three, Eielson and Lathrop both performed extremely well in the 800 meter sprint medley.
Eielson took fourth in 1 minute 41 seconds while Lathrop took fifth just one second later.
Next up for our interior track teams will be the Abbreviated Meet this Saturday at North Pole High School.
This meet will have 10 events and will start at 11am.
