Interior Swimmers earn top-3 finishes at State Meet

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The State Swimming Championships were held in Anchorage over the weekend, and one of our Interior Swimmers was able to win a state title, while we also had some top-three finishes individually.
Hutchison's Noah Palmer was crowned state champion in the 500 yard freestyle, out-swimming the second place finisher by 10 seconds.
He also took second in the 200 yard Individual Medley.
For the West Valley Wolfpack, Ezra Billings took second in the 50 yard freestyle while Patty Eppingher finished as the runner-up in the 100 yard backstroke.
And Lathrop's Katy McCarter took second in the 100 yard freestyle and third in the 50 yard free.
