Interior Softball players earn invitations to National Development Camp

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Two Interior Softball Players earned invitations to a national development camp hosted by Major League Baseball and USA Softball.
Lathrop's Jaelynn Accola and North Pole's Janice Dykes will be heading to the Softball Breakthrough Series. ​
This camp is held over Memorial Day Weekend in Kansas City Missouri.
They host the top 60 High School Softball Prospects in the nation. ​
The athletes will have a chance to work on thier game while showing off their talents to college recruiters. ​
Accola and Dykes will have a chance to learn from five olympians as well as MLB executives and current as well as former members of team USA. ​
The Camp runs from May 24th through the 26th. ​
We talked to these two standouts about how it feels to be part of this elite class of players.
Jaelynn Accola said "We definitely put in a lot of blood sweat and tears on the field," said the Lathrop Junior, "so to know that it's being recognized by people down in the Lower 48 where they play ball 24/7... I think that we're good enough to make that sixty selection is really really cool."
