Ice Dogs complete 3-game sweep of Janesville Jets

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Fairbanks Ice Dogs were coming off an awe inspiring 8-3 victory over the Janesville Jets, and were looking to sweep their Midwest Division foe at home.
Game Three was a lot closer as the Ice Dogs sweat out the final few moments to win 3-2 over the Jets.
Luke Ciolli scored the first goal in the opening period, which kickstarted Fairbanks' offense to go up 3-0.
Luke Mobley scored alongside Jax Murray to give the Ice Dogs two goals in the second period.
Janesville made it interesting late in the second period and they scored in the third to make it a one goal game.
But Nate Reid were able to close out the rest of the game to earn the "W".
The offense for the Ice Dogs was on fire in this three game series, as they scored 14 goals on 137 shots.
The Ice Dogs improve to 33-15-3-3 with 72 points as they now hold a six point lead in the Midwest Division as Fairbanks extends their winning streak to five in a row.
The Ice Dogs prepare for their final six games of the regular season, which will be against their in-state rivals in the Kenai River Brown Bears.
Fairbanks will be on the road to face Kenai down in Soldotna for a Midwest Divisional series starting on Thursday at 7 P.M.
