Ice Dogs 2019-20 Schedule Released

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The North American Hockey League announced it's schedule for the 2019-20 season on Tuesday.

The Fairbanks Ice Dogs will begin it's season on the road for a series against the Janesville Jets on September 27.

The Dogs' home opener is October 11th when they Minnesota Magicians at the Big Dipper Ice Arena.

The NAHL, which is the oldest and largest junior league in the U.S., is integrating two new teams to its league this year in the Maine Nordiques and the New Mexico Ice Wolves.

Fairbanks will host the Ice Wolves for the first time on January 17 and the Nordiques the following weekend.

The Ice Dogs, who finished 37-16-7 last year, is slated for another 60 game regular season this year.

Fairbanks will conclude it's regular season with a home series against the Kenai River Brown Bears the last weekend of March.

The Ice Dogs finished runner-up in the Robertson Cup last year.
