Ice Dog Goaltender Mattias Sholl named Midwest Division Star of the week

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - After the Ice Dogs took over first place in the NAHL Midwest Division by sweeping the Minnesota Magicians, one player earned some extra recognition for his efforts.
Goaltender Mattias Sholl was named Midwest Division Star of the Week, after securing two wins between the pipes. ​
On Friday, the Hermosa Beach, California Native stopped 31 of the 32 shots he faced, to help the Ice Dogs to a 2-1 win and also stopped all 21 shots fired his way to secure a 3-0 win and a shutout. ​
Sholl has been on a roll all season long, sitting at 11-1-4 record with a 1.87 Goals against average, the best in the NAHL.
