FAIRBANKS, Alaska - This morning one member of the Ice Dogs announced their commitment to play college hockey.
Luke Mobley will be playing for Clarkson University.
Mobley has been a heavy contributor for the Ice Dogs this season.
The 2018-2019 Regular season saw Mobley finish with 47 points with 19 goals and 28 assists.
He also already has a goal in the postseason.
Mobley has had two five point games this year, the first happened back in December against the Chippewa Steel.
The St. Louis Park Minnesota Native scored three goals and two assists in that one before repeating that feat on March 15th at home against the Janesville Jets, once again earning a hat trick and two assists.
Mobley will now be joining the Clarkson Golden Knights, an NCAA Division 1 Program who are members of the Eastern College Athletic Conference.
He is the eighth Ice Dog to make an NCAA commitment this season.
