I5 for Week of April 21 through 28

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - We're going to start this week off with a viewer submission. Scott Raygor was able to catch this double-header on film when West Valley Seniors Ethan Raygor and Michael Dow both go up with the same idea and score with a header, proving once and for all that sometimes two heads are better than one.
We head to the turf fields for the next spot on the list where Monroe Catholic's Nathan Walsh is able to escape the Hutchison Defense to register a goal. Walsh is surrounded by six different Hutchison defenders, but is able to weave through them and then speed past them before firing in an 11 yard goal.
Now we head to game one of the Midwest Division Finals where Tyler Deweese sets up his fellow homegrown talent Ty Proffitt for the game-winning goal. Proffitt buries this shot to give the Fairbanks Ice Dogs a lead they would never surrender to move up to 1-0 in the series standings.
Now it's time for the first Baseball action of the year in the I-5. Monroe Catholic Pitcher Izak Lohrke was magical on the mound last Friday, pitching a no-hitter in the Rams first win of the season. The Rams took down the previously undefeated Delta Huskies 10-0 and Lohrke struck out 11 different batters.
And number one this week belongs to Ice Dog Forward, who finished with two goals in the team's Division Final victory on Saturday. He finished off the Magicians by hanging the goaltender out to dry and firing the puck into the back of the net. The Dogs will have a chance to finish the sweep this Friday down in Minnesota.
