Hutchison and North Pole baseball teams split double-header

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Also taking place last night was a double-header between Hutchison and North Pole.
The two teams split with North Pole taking the first game 7-2. ​
Gavin Fischer had three RBIs in the opening game to lead the Patriot offense while Wyatt Kammer registered the most scores, crossing home plate three times. ​
Alex Garcia struck out 8 batters in five innings pitching while Fischer didn't allow a hit in an inning of relief. ​
The Hawks then forced a split with a dominant win in the second game, defeating the Pats 15-3. ​
Mason and Ryan Young were the offensive leaders for Hutch in the closing game. ​
Ryan brought home four runners while Mason finished with three RBIs and two scores. ​
Kyle Banning pitched all five innings for Hutch, earning two strikeouts and only allowing two hits. ​
North Pole was back in action today for a 15-0 loss to Delta, which we'll have a full breakdown of later on.
