Hutchison and Lathrop earn Sweeps in conference double-headers

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Two conference Basketball double-headers were held outside city limits last night.
Out in North Pole, the Lathrop Malemutes swept the North Pole Patriots.
First up, the Malemutes won the girls game 66-21.
Torrin Johnson Oates led Lathrop with 19 points while Ella Roberts added 13.
In the boy's game, Lathrop was once again victorious by double-digits, defeating North Pole 68-39.
Jhon Rones led the Malemutes with 14 points while Kenny Peterson led North Pole with 23.
And out in Delta Junction, The Hutchison Hawks were also able to sweep their conference opponents, the Delta Huskies.
In the girl's game, Hutch won 60-28. Leah Rosenthal finished with 17 points for the Hawks while Andrea Solla led Delta with 13.
The boys game was much more dramatic with Hutch pulling out a 74-72 victory in Overtime.
Ross Matherly led Hutchison with 20 points while Ben Bialik dropped 23 for Delta.
