Fairbanks Ice Dogs return to Big Dipper Ice Arena after month long road trip

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Fairbanks Ice Dogs will be in action at home for the first time in about a month this weekend when they host the Minnesota Magicians.
The Dogs just finished up a six game road trip, winning four of those in the process.
The Dogs are now 28-15-3-3 overall this year.
They are second in the NAHL Midwest Division with 62 points.
Minnesota, their opponents this weekend, are in first place in the division with 64 points.
Although the Dogs have a chance to take the lead in the Midwest this weekend, Head Coach Trevor Stewart says that's not where the team's focus lies.

"We haven't really talked about it, obviously the guys knows what's at stake and what's in front of us. Guys have head a good mentality on what we need to do next. Our focus has been on individual skill development translating to success for the team and we are going to continue with that and see how it shakes out the last month of the season," said Stewart.
