Eielson and Monroe Football players earn All-Conference honors

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The All-Aurora Conference Football team has been voted on for the 2018 season, and players from the Eielson Ravens and Monroe Catholic Rams were both honored.
Eielson's Backfield duo of Jaydenn Manibusen and Ryan Armour both made the first team along with Quarterback Payton Devaughn, Offensive linemen Scott Fry, Mason Johnson, and Joey Rodriquez, and Tight End Brock Renson.
Fry and Renson were also named to the first team defensive line while Manibusen was named first team Defensive Back and Armour earned an outside linebacker spot as well.
Monroe Catholic's first team honors were Josh Gray at both the runningback and inside linebacker positions, Isaac Minnema and Jordan Higbee at both Wide Receiver and Defensive Back, and Isaac Garcia at Outside Linebacker.
Higbee was the only interior player to earn three All-conference spots, as he was also named first team Kicker.
The Year-end awards all went to the Ravens.
Offensive Player of the year went to Jaydenn Manibusan, Defensive to Ryan Armour, and Lineman of the year to Scott Fry.
David DeVaughn was named coach of the year and Don Fry earned an assistant coach of the year honor.
