FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Eielson Ravens improved their lead in the Aurora Conference with a dominant 59-20 win over the Valdez Buccanneers.
Jaydenn Manibusen got the scoring going with only the third offensive play.
They then opened up their second drive with a 55 yard touchdown run by Manibusen and added scores from Payton DeVaughn and Ryan Armour to finish the opening quarter with a 26-6 lead.
Devaughn finished the day with two rushing touchdowns while senior Linemen Scott Fry and Mason Johnson also got in on the scoring party.
The Dirty Birds are now 5-1 overall and are in the driver's seat towards a conference title.
If they are able to defeat the Monroe Catholic Rams next weekend, they will go into the Division 3 playoffs as the #1 seed in the Aurora and will likely host the Ketchikan Kings.
