Bowling Green dominates Nanook Hockey in 8-0 shutout

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - UPDATE: After being shut out 8-0 on Friday, the Alaska Nanook Hockey team gained some revenge against the Bowling Green Falcons.
The Nooks skated to a 3-3 tie, but were able to gain an extra WCHA point thanks to a goal from Kylar Hope in the second overtime period.

The Alaska Nanooks were on the wrong side of a shutout last night as they were defeated 8-0 by the Bowling Green Falcons.
This one started off rough with Bowling Green earning a four goal advantage in the first period.
Not even a goaltending change by the Nooks could slow down the 16th ranked Falcons, who scored two more goals in each of the next two periods to secure the win.
Sam Craggs led Bowling Green in scoring with two goals while the six others were all scored by different players.
The loss drops the Nanooks down to 9-18-2 overall this year and 9-13-1-1 in Conference Play.
They are still seventh place in the WCHA and have a seven point lead on the Alabama Huntsville Chargers for that spot.
They will have a chance at revenge against Bowling Green tonight.
