FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The State Basketball Championships came to a close on Saturday, and while we've already told you about the weekend's Cinderella story, there were three other brackets that crowned state champions.
The 4A Girls Title game saw the continuation of a Dynasty.
The Dimond Lynx won their second consecutive state championship with a 62-57 win over Bartlett.
Dimond got off to a hot start, outscoring the Golden Bears 22-9 in the first quarter.
Not even a 25 point effort from Bartlett in the fourth quarter was enough to catch up to the State Champions.
Alaska's latest five-star recruit Alissa Pili showed why she's the reigning State Basketball player of the year, accounting for 40 of the team's points in her final high school game.
The USC Commit also earned a double-double by pulling down 13 rebounds, which was also a team high.
Bartlett Sophomore Amelia Uhila also put on a show, dropping 27 points to lead the Golden Bears in Scoring.
It was a good weekend for Anchorage schools as the 3A Brackets were both won by Anchorage Christian.
The ACS Boys defeated the Aurora Conference Champion Valdez 56-53.
They were led by a 12 point night by All-State Senior Danilo Guzman, while Valdez saw 13 point performances from both Kyler LaBonte and Logan Heckathorn.
The ACS Girls then completed the sweep with a 63-48 win over Nikiski.
Destiny Reimers led ACS with 15 points.
