Alaska Nanooks fall in back-to-back contests against Nationally Ranked St. Cloud State

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Alaska Nanook Hockey team was on the wrong side of a sweep this weekend, which culminated in their 6-2 loss to the St. Cloud Huskies.
The Nooks held a 2-1 lead early in the second period before the Huskies responded with 5 unanswered goals to secure the win.
Brennan Blaszczack (Blay-Zack) and Ryker Leer accounted for the Nanook Goals while Rookie goalie Gustavs Grigals earned 30 saves.
The Nooks now fall to 0-4 to start the year.
Their rough opening stretch will now move down to the University of Denver, where they take on the Pioneers in a road series this Friday and Saturday.
