Alaska Aces to return for Alumni Game in November

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Alaska Aces have been defunct for over two years now, but the fanbase is still alive and well.
These loyal fans will be rewarded with a one night appearance by Alaska's former ECHL franchise.
The Aces Alumni Game will be held in the Sullivan Arena down in Anchorage in November.
This will be a charity hockey game between former Aces players and all of the proceeds will benefit Toys for Tots and Armed Service YMCA.
This will be the first time the Aces have competed in the Sullivan Arena in any capacity in two years.
Financial problems forced the beloved franchise to fold at the end of the 2017 season.
They competed in the ECHL, the highest level junior hockey league sanctioned by USA Hockey, where they won the Kelly Cup three times.
Now, even if it's just for one night, fans get to see the aces in action again on November 9th in the Sullivan Arena.
