ACS wins first ever West Valley Ice Jam Tournament

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The first ever West Valley Ice Jam tournament came to a close on Saturday night with the championship game between the host school and the Anchorage Christian Lions.
ACS won this one by a score of 56-49.
West Valley led 13-10 after the first quarter and 29-27 at Halftime, but an 18-6 effort in the third quarter gave the Lions all the momentum they needed to secure the win.
Jordan Todd led the Lions in scoring with a 14 point effort while the Wolfpack were led by Sierra Tate, who dropped 15.
Ellen Silva and Jozey Martellaro also contributed heavily for the Pack, Silva with 11 points and Martellaro with 10.
Those three all earned spots on the All-Tournament team, along with Lathrop's Ella Roberts and tourney MVP Destiny Reimers from ACS.
