4th Region VI swim meet of season brings out the best in it's competitors

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Last night was the 4th Region VI all school meet for swimming in North Pole's Wescott pool, pooling in massive attendance with West Valley, Eielson, Hutchison, Valdez and Monroe meeting with North Pole's finest. And we were there to make sure we could get all of the times in for today, with the second half on Devin Fry's broadcast on Monday.
First up we've got the numbers for the girl's 200 yard medley relay. West Valley took the lead in this one with a time of 2 minutes and 1 second, just surpassing Hutchison's time of 2 minutes and 7 seconds.
For the boy's event North Pole out-performed the rest, but just barely with a final time of 1 minute and 48 seconds, with West Valley just behind with 1 minute and 50 seconds.
Next up was the girl's 200 yard freestyle, and this was the closest one yet. Hutchison took a final time of 2 minutes and 5 seconds with West Valley taking second with 2 minutes and 6 seconds.
Of course, following we have the boy's event where Eielson took first with a time of 1 minute and 57 seconds. West Valley settled for second again with a time of 1 minute and 59 seconds.
Event 5 was the girl's 200 yard IM, and Lathrop took the massive lead of 2 minutes and 19 seconds, with Monroe trailing with the final time of 2 minutes and 27 seconds.
For the boy's, North Pole represented with a lead of 2 minutes and 16 seconds, opposed to West Valley's 2 minutes and 29 seconds.
