Walgreens reaches settlement in Medicaid lawsuit

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Walgreens has reached a settlement in a 2012 lawsuit filed by multiple states and the federal government. The company is accused of overcharging Medicaid. Walgreens agreed to pay $60 million to the states involved in the suit. Alaska will be getting $56,000 from their $124,000 part of the settlement. All of the money will go to refund Medicaid.
