FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Passengers at the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport can now expect easier access to taxis.
Passengers can cross directly over to the relocated taxicab queue situated near the south terminal.
According to a press release from the airport, passengers will no longer have to wait outside for their hotel courtesy shuttle, or limousine.
They will now be able to watch from the comfort of the heated ground transportation lobby and those catching a cab will have a much shorter walk to the front of the taxi queue.
The airport is implementing this new system on a trial basis.
The new service began this week, on november 5th.
