Two Dogs Killed in Downtown Fire this Morning

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - A fire downtown this morning claimed the lives of two dogs.

A duplex on 10th Avenue caught fire around 10 this morning.

The Fairbanks Fire Department was able to quickly respond and put the fire out in 15 minutes.

Two residents of the building were unharmed but have been displaced, however two dogs did pass in the fire.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
