Troopers seeking help locating vehicle involved with hit and run

FAIRBANKS, Alaska The Alaska State Troopers are seeking the public's help to locate a vehicle believed to be involved in a hit and run.

Troopers say that early yesterday morning they responded to Holmes Road in North Pole for a possible hit and run. They found that an adult male had been struck by a vehicle and that the vehicle continued without stopping. The victim was transported to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital for his injuries.

Troopers looking for a 1999-2000 era Chevy or GMC half ton pick-up truck with headlight and mirror damage. They ask anyone with information about the incident to contact them at 451-5100.
