Troopers relocating Bureau of Highway Patrol to Wasilla

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Alaska State Troopers announced Monday that they will be relocating the Bureau of Highway Patrol, known as the BHP, to Wasilla on February 1. Department of Public Safety commissioner Amanda Price says that the move will allow Troopers to focus efforts on some problem areas.

The BHP is a special trooper unit focuses on traffic violations on Alaska's highways. They're currently headquartered in Anchorage.
