Troopers looking for suspect who ‘egged’ patrol car in Delta Junction

DELTA JUNCTION, Alaska (KTVF) According to Alaska State Troopers, someone threw eggs at a patrol car in Delta Junction sometime on Friday night or Saturday morning. Troopers said in a dispatch post that the patrol vehicle was vandalized to a point that prevented it from going into service.

Troopers said they discovered the damage late on Saturday morning and that an investigation revealed one or multiple individuals had thrown eggs at the car sometime during the night.

The egg residue was obstructing the rear window of the vehicle, and it was out of service for an hour while being cleaned.

The post said, “During these serious times, an emergency vehicle and first responder not being able to respond to the needs a call of its community is a serious situation. The Delta Junction community has very limited amount of law enforcement officers to respond for a wide spectrum of types of calls. The loss of one vehicle and patrol Trooper could be catastrophic to the community they serve.”
