Fairbanks families and community members are invited to the annual fundraiser and open house at the Carol Brice Family Center.
There will be a tour of the facility, door prizes, and a silent auction, along with snacks and beverages.
People will be able to find information about resources for kids, and also meet and greet with Thrivalaska board members.
In addition, participants can look forward to face painting, a balloon artist, and even pony rides for the kids.
The event will run from 5:30 to 7:30 PM Friday.
Assistance Finance Director, Shelly Mensch, told us more about the family friendly celebration.
Shelly Mensch; Assistant Finance Director - Thrivalaska>>"So Step Up For Kids is our annual event. It's an annual fundraiser for us. It's our annual visitor's meeting as a non-profit. Its an opportunity to help us advocate for children. We specialize in early care and education and the programs that we operate under Thrivalaska. This is an opportunity for us to celebrate children in our community, and to help others come along beside us."
