FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) A teen was arrested for the shooting of three people at a party in late August on Alyeska Drive -- an area north of the University of Alaska Fairbanks Campus.
16-year-old Anthony Taye Hunter is being charged as an adult for the shooting.
He has been charged with three counts of Assault in the first degree and one count of firing a weapon from a vehicle.
According to Alaska State Troopers, Hunter became upset after someone at the party broke the vehicle windows of Hunter's relative.
A fight broke out, and Hunter's friends got him into a vehicle to drive away from the scene.
While they were stopped at a stop sign, Hunter allegedly reached out of the rear passenger window and fired multiple shots towards the victims from a handgun.
When interviewed by troopers, Hunter admitted to arguing with the victims and firing his weapon 5 to 7 times outside of the vehicle.
Troopers say each of the three victims were wounded by the shots.
