FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Alaska Comedy is bringing up standup comedian, Jeff Dye, to perform this weekend.
Dye, who is originally from Seattle, now lives in Los Angeles where he performs standup and hangs out with William Shatner, Henry Winkler, Terry Bradshaw, and George Forman as part of the reality show, "Better Late Than Never."
He says that the point of the program is to show that no matter what your age, you can still try and learn new things.
Dye discussed his experience working with the four Hollywood legends.
Jeff Dye; Comedian, "Better Late Than Never">>: "The truth of the matter, and what people, I think, I hope they realize on the show is that these are men. They're regular men. They're dads and they're grandpas, and they're very, very down to earth kind of like sweet guys. And I think that what brings people in is, oh that's Captain Kirk, that's "The Fonze," but what you get out of it is, oh, they're nice and they're sweethearts, and they have their opinions, and they have hurts, and so it's good that way."
Jeff Dye will perform at the Blue Loon this Friday and Saturday.
