Ice Park relocated to fairgrounds

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The World Ice Art Championships is relocating to the fairgrounds this year. The World ICE Association and Tanana Valley State Fair Association announced a formalized lease agreement. The planning committee has been working up a budget, event agenda and features for the ice festival. They're accepting volunteer applications for each department, and the comity meets every Tuesday night from 5:30 to 7:00 at the fairgrounds.

On their website, they list some of the activities they're working on including: Single Carver-Single Block, Two Carver-Two Block, Multi Block, Youth Competition, also, an Ice Carving Clinic, Interactive Ice Park, and other activities.
