Alan Hickford, a meteorologist with the NWS, says that the storm will continue through Wednesday night, and could bring another 9 to 14 inches of snow.

In addition to the snow, the storm is expected to bring winds gusting to 35 miles per hour.

"This is quite a bit more snow than normal, the normal up to date is 3.7 inches for March, we have already seen, like I said, up to nine inches," Hickford said.

After the storm, Hickford says that the temperatures will drop, and we could see lows into the negative teens.

He adds that during the storm, people should try to stay inside as the roads will be dangerous.
