Fairbanks police confirm stray bullet killed dog at Hospital

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Fairbanks Police have released new information about a shooting that took place in August. According to FPD spokeswoman Yumi McCulloch, police recovered evidence that multiple handguns had been fired near the intersection. Four hours later, police responded to the Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, where someone reported their 7-year-old dog Yukon had been shot while sitting in their truck.

Wednesday, police confirmed the bullet that killed Yukon was fired from one of the guns used in the 24th and Barnett incident.
