Fairbanks Police ask for public's help in finding hit and run suspect

FAIRBANKS, Alaska Fairbanks Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a cement truck involved in a hit and run last week. On Monday August 5th, officers responded to a hit and run in the area of the Mitchell Expressway and Lathrop Street.

According to FPD, the cement truck struck the white Chevrolet Cobalt's passenger side causing it to slide into jersey barriers and become disabled.

The cobalt's driver sustained multiple injuries in the collision and the cement truck fled the scene. It was described as having a spinning drum with yellow on the side.
