Fairbanks Four member won’t see jail time

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - A judge declined to jail a member of the Fairbanks Four in a domestic violence case. Kevin Pease is charged with felony assault from an incident in December where he allegedly smashed car windows as his brother's ex-girlfriend tried to leave.

The judge declined to issue a warrant for Pease's arrest, instead requiring him to wear an ankle bracelet, and imposing a curfew from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The victim asked the judge by phone to make sure Pease pays for the window and that he not receive jail time. The judge said the woman's testimony influenced his decision.
