It's a free event that invites kids and families to come and meet with 25 local nonprofits and community service members to teach kids about daily safety.

There's loads of activities, such as... for the whole family and events providing kids with the resources to be safe such a bike safety check and a bike helmet giveaway.

The event is sponsored by Midnight Sun Council, BSA along with Kinross Fort Knox Gold Company, as well as, Volunteer in Policing.

"For us, at the mine at Fort Knox, safety is who we are. So for us this makes absolute total sense to put on an event like this because our employees and our community members should be safe in all aspects of their life. Whether they're at home or at work." Said Anna Atchison, External Affairs Manager for Fort Knox.
