Car Theft Turns to Car Chase

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - A woman whose vehicle was stolen took matters into her own hands after she saw her car being driven down Airport Road.

Tiffany Thomas reported that her vehicle had been stolen early Friday morning.

According to charging documents, Thomas then called police again later that afternoon and reported that she was in a cab following her stolen vehicle.

Police responded to the parking lot of the Noel Wien Library where they witnessed the cab ram the back of the stolen car causing it to spin out.
