FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) Early on Friday evening, Alaska State Troopers received a call about a collision at the intersection of Murphy Dome Rd. and Hardluck Dr. in Fairbanks.
A California man was killed in a collision with a truck after his car failed to yield to a stop sign on the intersection of Murphy Dome Rd. and Hardluck Dr. (AST)
On the scene, Troopers discovered that a 2018 Subaru Forester had failed to yield at a stop sign and had collided with a 2005 Ford F-250.
According to AST, all four occupants of the Subaru were taken to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital for their injuries. The driver of the Ford truck was unharmed.
Shortly after arriving at FMH, Yunzhi Wang, 30, of California, was pronounced dead due to injuries sustained from the collision. Wang’s next of kin have been notified.
According to AST, the investigation is ongoing.
