Baby Quinn loses battle with spinal muscular atrophy

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Quinn's Grandfather, and deeply rooted Fairbanks community member, Bob Marok, held several fundraisers for Quinn to help with the cost of her treatment.
"Quinn's RoundUp" and "Spin for a Cause", among others, brought in thousands of dollars, and were examples of a town coming together for one family.
Marok says, "The support and caring of the Fairbanks community has been awesome. We are fortunate to be a part of such a caring community."
Quinn brought together a variety of people, from country singer, Ryan Bexley, to fitness studio owner, Tina Ferringer.
At just shy of 9 months old, and despite making improvements with the Spinraza treatments, Quinn will now live on in her family's memories.
