Sarah Dubowski is an anchor and reporter for the Fairbanks Evening News.
A life-long Alaska resident, Sarah became interested in public speaking since she was first involved with UAF theatre productions at six years old.
Sarah grew up in Salcha, Alaska and graduated from North Pole High School. She took her education to the next level at Wood-Tobe Coburn School in New York City studying graphic art, marketing and fashion design.
After working in Los Angeles for several years, she made her way back to her hometown and in 2015 she took a dive into television and news media full time.
She has also studied journalism at UAF.
At Newscenter11 she usually covers courts, crimes, politics, environment and any controversial story that may catch her eye.
In her downtime she enjoys being with family and in the water at Harding Lake.
