FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The West Valley Hockey team used an early goal to help set the tone in their eight to one win over the North Pole Patriots.
The first goal was 17 seconds into the match, with Coleman Baxter getting past the Patriots' Goalie in Moses Halbert.
Jaren Beckley, Dylan Savereide, and Baxter all scored two goals in the game, while Tyler Lorring and Anton Ruppert chipped in a goal apiece.
The Wolfpack were relentless on the offensive side, because their goalie Simon Atkinson didn't have to save that many shots.
Atkinson only had five saves, while only giving up one goal.
Jeff Doty score the Patriots in the second period.
