FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Alaska Nanooks volleyball team had a rough time against the number 12 nationally ranked Northwest Nazarene Crusaders, being swept in a three-Oh sweep down in Nampa, Idaho.
They lost the sets in scores of 25 to 12, 25 to 10, and then 25 to 18.
This dropped the Nanooks record to eight and seven, with a conference record of one and five.
For the Crusaders, they continue their dominant season with record of 14 and Oh.
The Nanooks will need to look to improve their hitting percentage, as they only hit for point OH-3-6, which is the lowest they've had all year long.
One of the positives that the Nooks can take is Cate Whiting, who had 13 assists on the night, while also getting 10 plus digs from players like Jenna Hickel and Lahra Weber.
The Crusaders were able to have success on offense behind Hailey Cook's 24 assists, while Mari Thomas had five service aces against the Nanooks.
They had success on the defensive side with nine and a half blocks against Alaska.
