Nanooks' Steven Jandric Named Rookie of the Month

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Steven Jandric for the Alaska Nanooks was named the Western Collegiate Hockey Association Rookie of the Month for October.
The freshman has seven points this year, and he leads all freshman in the conference with six assists.
His plus/minus rating sits at plus seven, and has been on the ice for 10 goals this year.
Jandric played in the eight games during the month of October, and he scored a point in at least six of those.
Jandric was part of the Nanooks success against the Seawolves, where Jandric had the game winning assist in the finale.
The Nanooks along with their newly minted WCHA Rookie of the Month will be facing Bemidji State Beavers this Friday and Saturday at the Carlson Center, with those games starting at 7 PM.
