Monroe Dismantled North Pole in Hockey this Week

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Monroe Catholic Rams hockey team dominated the North Pole Patriots behind their young players.
The Rams won five to one, and were led by freshman Silas Hughes, as he had a short-handed goal along with three assists.
The Rams offense was all over the Patriots, limiting the Pats to only 13 shots on goal. In comparison, the Rams had 37 shots.
The other scorers for the Rams were Evan Fritze who scored twice, while Ryan Michel and Lane Lannet helped push their lead.
North Pole's lone goal came off of Travis Siebel's attack in the high slot.
The Patriots drop to one and three, while the Rams improve to three and one.
