Lathrop Continues it's Dominate Wrestling Season

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Lathrop High School have a special team of wrestlers, as they continue their strong season winning the John Tobin Invitational.
The Malemutes had nine wrestlers dominate the field, leading their team to 245.5 team points, which was more than 75 points over second place.
That distinction goes to North Pole Patriots who had 170 points.
West Valley was fifth in the five team tournament, getting 51 points.
It started with Lathrop's freshman Jeremy Bockert beating Wasilla's junior Jack Fuller in the 98 pound finals.
Jacob Spencer won the 113 pound championship, while freshman Kobe Ames pulled out a close win in the 132 title match.
In the 138 title match, Lathrop had two of their wrestlers against each other. Both Jordan Opp and Caedon Ott fought it out, with Opp coming out on top.
While three of their seniors also won titles, that being Westley Bockert, Wyatt Story, and Zachary Tolver.
To round it out, Josiah Opp won the 170 title, while Riley Kulash beat out teammate Ernest Hollcraft in the 285 finals.
North Pole won three titles during the tournament, with Charles Howard winning the 126, CJ Fontana took home the 195 pound championship.
Bradley Antesberger beat out Thunder Mountain's Carl Tupou for the 220 title.
